Hi everybody! It's me, Patches. Today was a very exciting day for us. The FedEx man brought us a package from our pal, Pedro! It's for the International Package Exchange that Mr. T-Bone Beasley and Chef had the brilliant idea for. Mom took a picture of the package before either of us saw it.
Once we realized what she had, Poppy and I had a meeting to decide who would get to open it. As it turns out, we were taking too long so Mom decided to open it for us. Woohoo!
There was lots of really cool stuff inside. Poppy grabbed one of the three fleece crab toys that squeak and she hasn't quit squeaking it YET! Too bad Dad was trying to take a nap when Mom opened the box for us. For some strange reason, Mom thought she would have some control over the contents of the box. Wrong, Mom! We don't know WHAT gave her that idea! Poppy's been holding onto the fleece crab so tight that Mom can't even take the tags off of it.
There was also a Star Fish thingy. I hear it floats too, so if we ever get that pool, we'll be all set! And there was a really nice letter that Pedro sent along with all the cool goodies!
Thank you SOOOOO much, Pedro and Pedro's mom! Until today, I hadn't really shown any interest in toys, but I sure do like that duckie! Pedro and his mom really know how to shop!!! Sorry there aren't any pictures of Penny with our new toys. She took off to hide under a bed as soon as she heard the camera!
I hope everyone enjoyed seeing all the goodies we got from Pedro!
